What We Do

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide medical kits to civilians, volunteers, humanitarian workers and Terra Defense that are living and working in Ukrainian war zones. Our goal is to save as many lives as possible. Stop The Bleed training is provided as needed.

Emergency Medical Kits

Our Medical Kit has been designed by Thomas Bezruki, our medical consultant and retired war veteran. Careful consideration has been given to provide military grade supplies for emergency life threatening injuries that need treatment in the first 3-5 minutes. Each kit costs between $120-$150 and includes all of the items listed below. All donations collected go towards purchasing and replenishing medical supplies in these kits.

Inside Our Kits:

  • Hemostatic Dressing $20-$40

Each kit contains a hemostatic gauze that can be used on large life threatening wounds to clot the blood long enough, giving the victim time to be transported to safety and/or a medical unit. All hemostatic gauze is treated with Kaolin which accelerates the clotting cascade. QuikClot EMS 4 x 4” goes for $20. ChitoSAM 100 Z-fold goes for $35.

  • Chest Seal Entry/Exit $10-$50

Our chest seals do not require decompression needles. They can therefore be used on any large penetrating wounds by a civilian trained in combat first-aid. Asherman Chest Seals go for $10, but the price depends on the size and grade. We are sourcing Single Valve, Self-Adhesive, made in U.S. Entry/Exit Wound Chest Seals.

  • 2 Israeli Bandages $10-$30

The Israeli bandage or equivalent is a 6” or 8” compression bandage. It is used to staunch blood flow from traumatic hemorrhage wounds. It can be used on large wounds and is self-adhesive, which means it does not require combat red tape as part of the medical kit. These bandages go for $10-$30 depending on the brand and size.

  • Combat Tourniquet $30-$60

We are committed to using only military grade tourniquets that are manufactured by a reputable and tested company. WE DO NOT BUY KNOCK-OFFS! CAT tourniquets, made in U.S. are the most common for war zones, and it is easier to train civilians on one type of tourniquet instead of a variety. There are orange combat tourniquets, usually used for civilians and black ones usually used by soldiers. We provide both based on need and location. Reputable brand tourniquets go for $30-$50. It is ideal to provide 2 tourniquets, however, depending on stock, we will at least supply one.

  • Medical Shears (up to)-$160

High grade paramedic shears DO NOT GO FOR $10! We have been through many IFAK cases that have cheap, plastic scissors which do not work in high stress combat zones. A good pair of shears can cost up to $160. They are used in combat zones to quickly rip through thick clothing, tape, bandages and other materials that need to be removed to apply blood clotting agents to a life threatening wound.

  • Kit Bag, Marker, Medical Gloves

This is an important component that is often overlooked. In combat zones, soldiers are all trained in applying first-aid to a civilian and to each other, but the window to ask the victim questions is small. Markers are used to write down on the victim’s body their blood type, time of application of tourniquet, name and any information that can help the hospital make quicker decisions. Medical gloves are used to avoid infecting the victim when attending to their aid. Our bags are sourced depending on stock, sometimes it is even sourced in Ukraine or Poland from people who volunteer to make them.
